When we swiped a customer's card, it showed as verified, and they signed, and then I accidentally clicked some button on the screen. When checking transactions, the transaction did not appear, however the customer showed us his transaction history and it showed the transaction as pending. Did I accidentally click some kind of cancel transaction button? Please help, and thank you.

Hitting cancel is likely what happened. there is a cancel button on the top left I believe of the iPad but I believe it requires a second step to cancel it also. there can be a pending transaction if you cancelled the payment as that payment has already been secured from your client to start the transaction.
