Login Have to check I'm not a robot?

Within past few days it's asked me if I'm a robot everytime I login to my square.  Is there anyway for this to stop or turn this off?  Everytime I login i have to check the box beside I'm not a robot.

I have noticed this as well, a day or three ago is when it started for me.

Using FireFox on Linux Mint.

Sometimes Google can mistake a human for a malicious program or bot which is why you will be asked from time to time to confirm that you are not a robot. This is used for security purposes of course. Nothing to do on our end.

Hi Sayra,

 

Thank you for sharing this information. Unfortunately, this happens every time that I try to log in, and I am using a Safari and a Firefox browser, not Google, and I am still receiving the notifications every time I try to log in.

Like @sayra mentioned, there isn't something we can do on our end to disable the "I'm not a robot" check box you see popping up. I understand it's annoying to check the box every time, but think of it as an added layer of security for your account.

Perhaps you could have the box appear before we press login (when details are entered) so that it doesn't create a double process to access the system? I log in several times a day and it is annoying.

Agreed. This has only started happening to me this week. Very annoying when I log in multiple times a day.

Yup. The last three days or so, no matter which browser (though on my ipad Safari, it also pops up the images to check "which is a palm tree" more times than not.) With everyone experiencing this in the last few days on multiple browsers, I'd also think it's something changed within Square, not just the browser. Perhaps changing the logout time on Square would help.

This requirement seems to have disappeared again which implies that it was a setting that Square enabled and have now disabled again  - can you confirm that the intent is not to reintroduce it?
