I was self-employed and lost all of my income due to Coronavirus. Last week, I started offering a private delivery service doing shopping, errands, or whatever else folks need done on their behalf.
A customer needed $155 worth of goods from two stores. My fee for shopping, buying the goods, and delivery came to $25 for that order. I invoiced them for that amount before deliver, and the 3% + change amounted to over $5, or more than 20% of my profit.
I will no longer be using square for these jobs, or if need be I will charge an additional 20% on my service fee now that I know what’s what.
Blockchain transactions can’t come soon enough.
