Integrate PayPal under Performance?

I recently performed a performance upgrade to integrate PayPal as a payment option in my store. Despite several attempts, I have not succeeded. I follow the instructions, and everything seems to be set up correctly - I even get the message “Thank you for choosing PayPal as your payment provider.” But when I reload the Weebly store page, I end up at the start and can reconnect PayPal. Has anyone had similar experiences or know how I can fix this problem?

So it sounds like something’s glitching with the PayPal setup. Maybe try clearing your cache or disconnecting and reconnecting PayPal again, should fix it

Hi @vigo-shop !

@samis99 provided a great solution. Did this work for you? If not, can you provide a screenshot in this thread of what you are seeing when trying to connect PayPal? It will help us better troubleshoot to see which direction we need to go. Thank you!

It simply doesn't work. I added the PayPal account and also got confirmation (thank you for choosing PayPal as your payment provider). But nothing happens and when I press the button “Back to Block, Inc.” I get a white background.

@vigo-shop Can you provide a screenshot of what you are seeing when trying to connect PayPal? I don't want to immediately say it is a PayPal issue without doing some due dilligence.

@Summer2024  Sorry, I do not have permission to upload images here.

Under Settings I go to Connect and enter the PayPal data, then the message appears that the connection has been established.
“Thank you for choosing PayPal as your payment provider...”

But nothing has happened and I see the “Connect” button again instead of the “Connect or Disconnect” button as it should be.

@vigo-shop - No worries on not being able to upload pictures. This seems to be a disconnect between PayPal and Weebly. Have you reached out to PayPal yet? When you connect PayPal to Weebly it takes you to a completely different window so I am wondering if PayPal is the culprit here.

Summary: I could now fix the problem, it was due to the API at PayPal there were a few points not selected as described in the technical documentation, I changed them manually and now it works. This request can be closed. Thanks to all for your support.
