I'm guessing no?  Since those would still be Visa or Mastercard?

Have you tried a debit card with a test transaction?

Hi @Bthomas1981 - thanks for reaching out to us here on the Seller Community. It sounds like we weren’t able to approve you to accept card payments with Square. I know that re-entering your information can be frustrating, due to regulatory purposes we need to be able to verify certain information.

If you'd like to try again, we recommend trying these troubleshooting steps - they should be helpful in attempting to activate.

@gpena Unfortunately @jjgard is correct here. 

While you're still able to track and record cash and other tender payments, if you're not able to successfully complete the verification process for the Square Point of Sale app you won't be able to accept any card payments with Square.
