Hello all! I'm Tammey Stubbs. My busness, Stubbs Estates, is an estate sale business which means I have different merchandise and a different client nearly every month. So far I've been able to use my beloved Square system to at least assign categories to the items - like "antiques", "fine art", etc but always looking for ways to improve my record keeping and identify purchases better. Square has been a lifesaver in terms of tracking $$ when I have several clients in a single sale - each needing accounts of their share of the pie.

Hi I'm Dacia. I started Cool Beans Wilmington which is a mobile coffee trailer 1 year ago. We use our square system at all of our events. I would love to get more feedback on updates in the system and ways to better utilize the pos and connecting it efficiently to quickbook for taxes.. I'm Deborah, owner of Park City Photographers in the beautiful Park City, Utah. 
I've used square since I opened my business in 2010, and I am more than thrilled in keeping my contracts, invoices, etc in ONE PLACE! 

 

What I'd LOVE to see in the community - varied divisions (but not to divide, rather to bring us together). For example, creatives (artists, photographers) may have similar needs, wants, and desires. If I can work with say, a printer of metals, and avant- garden dress designer, large canvas creator;  ask questions regarding marketing promos that work; and say another business is looking for a photographer (branding, stock imagery, etc)... this would be cool.

Hi.  I'm Melissa.

I own The Dragonfly Emporium LLC, an Antique & Vintage Market in Fairhope, AL.

I started using the square reader for trade shows 7 or so years ago.  Now have the register in my shop and love it.  I do wish I was able to inventory my merchandise better, not sure that I can in my type of business.  Curious if others are able too?  The invoicing is a wonderful option for my artist and vendor booth rentals.  I am so glad I choose square years ago!

I am Jocelyn Adams andI started my business 1 year ago. I am the owner/chef for my company Bossy River Dog Treats, which is based out of Wesley Chapel, FL. I specialize in baking all natural doggy treats using only organic ingredients. It's so funny that I am known in my neighborhood as the dog treat lady, but I do not even have my own dog! *GASP* lol My dog passed away a few year ago from stomach cancer, so this is my way to love on all dogs and ensure that what they are putting into their bodies is healthy as well as delish ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Hi! I am a very small independent business.  Running a studio sized hair salon has not been easy, but with the upgrades that square has came out with recently, has made it so much better and easier to use. I love having the seller community topics to learn about what other businesses are doing to help their sales rise above others. I couldnโ€™t imagine using any other merchant services company. Not one that engages with it customers like this.

Hi My Name is Jahwana, owner and operator of the Big Gโ€™s Traveling Kitchen here in Downtown Phoenix.

We love using square devices so fast easy and accurate doesnโ€™t stall takes no time using both the pad and the small device to swipe cards with no chip. These 2 are a good fit for customers who have those cards that donโ€™t have that tap and go accessibility; we would love to receive one of those charging pads perfect for any time travel. Need a receipt easily add yourselves to the contacts or tap at the privacy of your own info connected to have one sent right to their point of contact. Invoice a breeze!

Hi Olive! I would love to cool ways that other people have set up their square technology to be more efficient and take up the least amount of space possible. Sometimes, all those printers and tablets can take up a lot of space and get confusing for new employees.

Good morning! 
My name is Valerie Dennis, owner of Detmalessence, a small professional skin care practice in Fredericksburg, VA. I opened my business in 2019 as a solo master esthetician and plan on growing substantially in the coming years. I joined the seller community to gain more ideas and insight on how to reach potential customers outside of the treatment room to sell my products. 
I have been using square on a consistent basis for 3 years but Iโ€™ve used it on and off for maybe 8 or 9. I love how easy it is to use and I love the various options that are available, like payroll, marketing campaigns, text message campaigns, etc., so I can add more as I grow. And I know I havenโ€™t even begun to scratch the surface!! 

Something that I would like to see is a tutorial on all that square offers. Because honestly, I donโ€™t think I know even half of what square can do!!  When I decide to try things out, Iโ€™m usually winging it and I end up getting charged for something I didnโ€™t really want because I didnโ€™t know what I was doing. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

Hi everyone, I am Chef Donisha Peters, Personal Chef and owner of Christian Caterers.  I am in the North Dallas area and happy to server and any city and state!  I have been using Square for the last 4 years and I feel that I learn more and more every day.  I have referred and assisted other business set up their Square accounts and taught most how to use the different features and benefits Square has to offer. I see myself as a brand ambassador for Square.

Hello, this is Matthieu, Winemaker at Cassidy Hill Vineyard in Coventry, CT.  Square has been a great tool for our business, and a huge improvement over an old school cash register.

 

I have come to the Seller Community to help answer questions I have had, and trouble shoot some issues that I've had.  For example, I first came to the Seller Community to ask about an issue I had when making a sale in the online store, and the red "On Sale" tag was not disappearing when the sale was removed.  The community and Square staff was a huge help for this issue.

Hi, 

I'm the office manager at  Norma Roche MD, a medical office.  I love that we can NOW text patients invoice's of their co-pays when we do virtual appointments.  I also love that the staff can see if a patient viewed the message and what time they viewed it.  I also like the fact that we can attach documents to the invoices.  The ease of use to find old invoices and see when they were paid is also a great feature.   We now have some patients asking for a thread of all payments made to our office for tax purposes and we are able to run that search and provide this info to the patients.  Also, we use square to do our payroll.  It is easy for each employee to clock in and out via their own device.  It's easy to pay employees and keep track of their time off.  I love the ease of use overall of square.
