Fixing Square Appointments - Incorrect Current Time Indicator

I am a Chromebook user, using the Android version of Square Appointments.

 

In my case the system time displayed in the bottom right hand corner of my screen is displaying 11:27am, yet the time indicated on Square Appointments is 1:00pm.

 

There is a simple fix to this problem. In Chrome OS Settings -> Advanced -> Date and Time, there are two options for the Time Zone.

 

  1. to set automatically using your IP address;
  2. Choose from list (which allows you to specify the exact time zone).

 

Select option 2, "Choose from list", and specify your exact time zone. When you return to Square Appointments the application will reload itself and the correct current time indicator will be displayed.

 

If you are experiencing this issue on another operating system try taking similar corrective actions in your operating system's settings.
