Feature Request: allow taxes to be applied to variations and/or modifiers of an item
We are a repair shop. An item on our sales list (let's call this tier 1) can have many modifiers (for example 5 different taxable parts) and many variations (for example 5 different non-taxable labor operations). Let's call modifiers and variations tier 2. Applying the tax button applies the tax at the tier 1 item level, therefore applying tax to any modifiers and variations we've selected, therefore taxing labor and not just parts. Of course we could create separate items for parts and labor but it saves us many many lines of items to have a general tier 1 item and then have the modifier and variation window pop up automatically. SO.....please add the "apply tax" button to the dialog boxes where one defines a variation; we'll use variations for taxable parts and modifiers for various labor operations.
