E-Gift Card Printing

I offer Square e-Gift Cards, both online and in-store. I've had several people purchase them in-store, only to request that I print them out for them, for various reasons. Is there a way to do this? The only options I can think of, would be to allow them to connect to my printer, while logged in to their emails, or to send the gift card to my email, and print it from there. Neither of which are ideal.

I was not able to find any other work around aside from what you already suggested. Did any of your customers elaborate more as to why they would prefer to have a printed copy? Another seller on here may have a suggestion for you if they have been in a similar situation. 

 

I'll also keep an eye out in case someone from our team has additional information that would help you out. 😊

The reasons were:

1) Not having access to a printer

2) Not understanding how to access their email, to print it, themselves

 

I’ve also noticed that, if purchasing online, there’s an option to set a delivery date for the gift cards, but that option doesn’t seem to be available, when purchasing through the POS.

Thank you for this feedback about printed e-gift cards, @Theopencircle! Right now, the option to schedule an eGift card is only available online, but I can see how it would be useful to have this available on your point of sale as well.

Is there any fix to not being able to print the e-gift card receipt in store? This is a really annoying thing that other stores can offer and it makes no sense why the card number doesn’t show on the receipt. Is there a way to fix it?
