Does square Appointments transfer over to Point of Sale?

I want to have square appointments for new clients to book appointments for services.  But they won't prepay for the services ,they will pay once they come in.  Do I then use square point of sale to charge them?  or is there a way that the service will auto populate into the register ap?

Hello @kicksandgiggles! Do you mean the Square Point of Sale app or the Square Register counter top system? Appointments isn't available on Square Register yet, but I hope the reply below helps.

If you have an iPhone or iPad you can use the Square Appointments app to charge clients when they come in for their service. From that app you select their booking from the calendar and follow these steps to complete the payment.

If you have an Android phone or tablet you can process payments with the Square Point of Sale app instead. Booked appointmets won't appear in this app so you can create items in the Point of Sale app for each service to process payments, or you can enter a custom amount to complete a payment.
