Hello Squares; does anyone know if the NSW Dine and Discover API is being implemented in the Square system?
Thanks, Bryan

Hi @bryancutts,
Thanks for getting in touch!
At this time, the NSW Dine and Discover API doesn't integrate with Square.
I'll pass this on to our API team as a feature request and will share any updates with you here 👍

Thanks for responding @Arie, the Dine and Discover vouchers are only valid to end of June. If this could be actioned ahead of then, it would help.
Hi, any advance on this? The voucher scheme has been extended. I understand this may not be viable to integrate with the API, but how do you suggest we process it on the Square Register?

Hi @Lexies,
Thanks for reaching back out to us here in the seller community!
While we don't have the API for this at the moment, the workaround would be to record the vouchers as an "other payment". If your customer wants to pay part of their bill with a voucher, and the other via cash, or card, you can process a split tender payment. Learn more about processing split tender payments here. Please let us know if you have any further questions, we're happy to help!

Hello, the split system is not useful when invoicing. To be able to give the customer the ability to use a voucher as part of paying an invoice would be extremely helpful. Other platforms are using the API, such as ticketing systems etc.; surely Square could do the same.

You can also record split payments from your end for invoices, @bryancutts1. Here's how:
1. Select an outstanding invoice you'd like to record a payment for in your Invoice Dashboard.
2. Click More > Add Payment > Record Payment.
3. Enter, or adjust the amount you'd like to record, and select a payment type.
4. Click Confirm when you're done.
Your customers can then pay the remainder of the invoice with their card via the invoice link you've shared with them.

Yes, I appreciate that process... however that still requires manual intervention on my part... the idea is that the customer can choose to pay without having to try and make contact with me and spend extra time transacting... when it could so easily be done without extra steps.
