Contactless reader needs a lanyard tether!

I recently saw a street vendor using a competitive contactless reader ( About same size as Square reader, brand starts with Q)

The vendor had the reader hanging on a lanyard from his neck. On closer inspection I discovered this other brand reader included an integral tether for attaching to a lanyard. 

I think this is a fantastic idea! Good enough to encourage me to look at the competitors web site and consider switching. I will not as I have had my Square contactless reader for over four years but I would love to see Square offer this feature.

That lanyard does look pretty handy - I couldn't say whether this is something Square plans to implement in future versions of our hardware, but am happy to pass the feedback on for consideration 🙂
