Hi! We are a Tea and Coffee shop who opened in May of 2020 and in the 2 years we have done several different pop ups, the most being this year, and the attendance of these pop ups have staggered from 30 people- 200 people- a couple thousand people.
When you are new to the Event scene it's hard to gage what the turnout might be and was the foot traffic to your particular booth will be. Our experience has been pretty positive. A couple of the smaller events were not well known and we mainly sold to the other vendors, but the bigger more well established events we have been invited to are amazing! For us sometimes we sell out of iced drinks first and other times we sell out of hot drinks first. You think you know people will want hot drinks on a cold day but you really can never guess what people are going to get. Our goal when we do these events is to, A) Support the host or organization putting on the event, B) Meet people we might not get to serve in our shop depending on location and serve them good drinks in the process, C) Have a good time and learn from the experience!
Seeing as you are a tanning salon your experience will be so incredibly different than ours, but that's the info I have for you and I hope you find it helpful!
Cheers!
