Beta: Square Appointments Commission Tracking, now recruiting

By popular demand, we’re ready to test another new update to Square Appointments: Commission Tracking!

Commission tracking will allow you to assign unique commission rates to each of your employees based on the service performed, or product sold.

We're looking for feedback from both you and your employees on this beta. If you’re interested in trying it out, please reply “I’m in!” or any variation of such, and we’ll get you setup. 😎

To share feedback, please make sure you are a member of our Beta Community, a private community where you can provide feedback, get support on latest features, report bugs and submit additional product requests. We'll be tracking your feedback in this group.

Hi,  Any way we could add different services on different employees on the same ticket? 

So each employee is paid the correct commission for the service and the customer can pay for only one ticket with all the services at once?

Hey @FND if you are using Appointments to arrange for these services, then the employee assigned to that appointment (and its service) will earn commission for it regardless of whoever closes out the transaction. We don't currently have a way to assign multi-staff to an appointment/service, however we are currently building a feature that would allow staff members to be attributed to individual line items in the cart. No timeline on that as of now, but I can circle back when we're ready to launch it.

Hi @Ladylove ! This feature released to the general public on Friday Oct 23rd and you should be able to access it now from your Square Dashboard. Simply head to a team member's profile, and you'll be able to edit their wage to properly reflect their commission rate.
