Barcode Issue

we have some products that use a sku that include the price and the last 4 numbers are all different based on weight. We have 3 of the square stands with iPad and they ring up there no problem, we have 1 of the new square registers and none of those types of skus will work. Anyone have any insight on why this might be.

Hello @brucescandy I'm sorry your barcode scanner isn't working correctly. Are you using a cabled or bluetooth barcode scanner? Will your Square register read ANY barcodes or just not these specific barcodes?

There is some info here that might help with some barcode issues. I create my own SKUs and print my own barcodes for most items, and I find if the barcode contains too many characters the printed barcode seems "small" and isn't read very easily from the barcode scanner.
