Hi Seller Community!
Square Point of Sale is getting a facelift. We’ve redesigned the user interface, and need your feedback before we launch.
We've improved the checkout flow and app navigation in this update, so you’ll be able to access the tools and reports you need quickly. To get started with this Alpha, please join us in the Beta Community and see the steps to join below.
This beta is currently live for iOS and we plan on launching for Android in the coming weeks. Also, Open Tickets is not currently supported, but will be available early September.
To join this alpha:
- Reply to this thread and let us know if you are using an Android or iOS device.
- Join our Beta Community so we can track your feedback provide updates as we go to beta.

Since this facelift happen our POS has had troubles and today it wont load. It is a hassle since we are a coffee shop and we only have one register. NO customer service at all and we tried everything in the book.
Please help us!

We had similar issues with the new facelift not working on Thursday. We’re a coffee shop as well and not having a functional POS during the morning rush is less than ideal. We had to factory reset the POS twice. It seems we’re back to our original screen.

How do we know if we are part of the test?
Our app is not working right so did testing happen? Since last Thursday, Sept. 10 we keep losing the internet connection and the app will Not accept payments even though offline functioning is turned on; the printer is no longer connected and neither is the cash drawer. We have removed the app from the ipad twice, to no avail. H E L P!! We need our functions back up please!!

I am new here.
We are a small civil/structural engineering firm in DC/MD/VA region.
Dose anybody know if SQUARE pays state unemployment insurance automatically? Or I need to do it manually?
