Just received notice that KDS price will increase by a massive 66% next month. Not sure what other B2B product that users have become reliant on would do that.
Pretty disappointing.

I've passed it on to our Kitchen team for further consideration. We initially launched KDS at a discounted price point, and the introductory pricing was advertised as a limited time special price on both the product and support pages. Understandable though that as a business owner, you're always wanting to keep operational costs as low as possible. I'll let you know if I hear back from the team at all.

In the email from Square in May I had understood the "Special Introductory Price" to be a reference to the "Free for 30 days" offer, especially as there was no other price displayed in that email.
(I've just checked my revised budget of the time and can see I have $15 listed for 23/6/21 to 23/6/22 and I described it as "ongoing", so that was definitely the impression I had).
My mistake for not clicking through to the small print!
