Who's selling restaurant merch?

Hey everyone!

I was reading this article on The Bottom Line and was inspired by the idea of selling branded merchandise to increase both awareness and revenue for your restaurant.

I'd love to hear from you if you're currently selling branded merch and what your experience has been so far with it!

Tagging @SSB_YVR@dimo10@ryanwanner, and @MacsIce to get your take on this!

Some Savage Goods spotted in the wild, love that! Maybe even a good idea to offer a discount on refill or something when someone posts your merch!

I might have to order one of those tumblers!

Thank you, @SSB_YVR!! We do a lot of it ourselves, and work with local designers for some of it. It's only about 2% of our annual revenue, but it feels like it adds a lot of value.

I have to say, I love a good postcards! When I went to New York, a couple of cafes and restaurants I went to gave them out for free (!) with my bills, but I'd happily buy one because the illustrations are always great and it makes a great little keepsake!

Now I need to make plans to visit you @mksavage ๐Ÿ˜

Also โ€” nothing beats a good tote bags! They come in handy if you ever have to move books ๐Ÿ˜‚

Oooh, it's a fun idea to give them away for free @tranguyen! We have a ton of people who pass through -- El Paso is right in between LA and Austin -- so, it could also be cool to give them to people who mention that they're on a road trip. Now you've got me thinking...

Just make sure whatever you choose to sell fits with your restaurant's vibe and brand. Good luck!

We just loaded up with a few different t shirt designs. One is simple and one color for an inexpensive crew shirt. One is a retro california beach type design.
