Hello everyone, I accepted the recommendation to not be shy and, although my English, I wanted to share our adventure (me and my wife) as in home business at Pittsburgh.

We just opened an artisanal Italian gelato business, a lab/kitchen in the basement with delivery at customer door.

We would love to get in touch with other small business owners like us, especially if in the area, to build collaboration.

For example creating new products (home made cookies with our our home made gelato) or to open a shared pickup place so that we can leverage on the food distribution fleet like UberEATS et similar.

Thank you,

Antonio Sergio info@piccolapiazza

Hi Antonio,

We create all natural locally sourced boozy jams and jellies and it swirls fantastic with gelato etc! We are looking for local collabs and this sounds like a decadent match! We do cater to bakeries, ice cream shops, restaurants. Maybe we could chat? deanna.richar@gmail.com or phanniesboozyjams.com Cheers!

Good afternoon, everyone!

I'm Maurice and reside in The Bronx, NY. Several years ago, around the holidays, I decided to bake chocolate chip cookies based upon my late mother's recipe to give as gifts instead of buying random Christmas junk. The feedback after friends and family received them was overwhelming! A good number of them said I should open a store because they were delicious, so I did - online.

Hi! Nice to meet you here. My name is Tamyra. I'm in the Seattle area, but my family is originally from Louisiana. I started a small, family business a few years back as well, with my mom's barbecue sauce recipe! Small world. 🙂 Now we sell bottled teas and lemonades as well. Wishing you tremendous success. Reach out anytime. Not sure if I can help because I'm navigating my own journey as best I can mostly through trial and error...lol... but happy to be a resource. Cheers!

Hey Adam,

I only joined the Food & Beverage Group to ask how to be "recategorized" in Square's database of customers. I keep getting Food & Beverage related emails, when it's not relevant to me. But when I go to manage subscriptions, there's nowhere to list preference by industry or category type. I still want to get relevant content, updates, etc. it's just that Food & Beverage isn't it. (I'll leave this group once you've directed me to someone who can help.)

Thanks,

Rhonda

Thank you for the invite!  I opened a bakery in 2016 that we've transformed over the years into a bakery and eatery serving lunches and over the winter will be getting into dinner service.   I'm located in rural Eastern Ontario, Canada and continuing on this pandemic recovery roller coaster.   Looking forward to learning from everyone here!

Good morning!  My wife and I started a Lemon Shake Up business to raise money for a private school.  Sales have been very good so far.   Up to this weekend we have only been able to take cash, but after joining Square last week we will be able to accept non cash payments this weekend.  We are pretty excited and a little nervous about using Square, but we think it will go well.  Any suggestions for a first time user of Square would be appreciated.
