Hello, we recently started using Bump and I had a few questions.

Is there a way to show the customer name on the bump screen instead of the randomly generated ticket number?

Also, right now we are getting in a lot of online orders and on our website we allow customers to schedule their orders for a later time or day but as soon as they order it shows up on the bump screen.. is there a way to set it so that the orders on bump come in accordance to when the order should be done by?

Is there a way to split the kitchen display into two different displays? Right now we are serving sushi up front on one screen and kitchen items in the back on a different screen but the orders come in the same for both screen and can lead to confusion for our team members.

Also, I've talked to bump support about this already, but is there a time schedule for displaying orders that haven't been payed for yet? (call in orders) I know that the feature isn't available yet but I feel as though that is a pretty basic feature for a restaurant KDS.

Thank you for your questions and for trying Bump KDS!

Square is working on adding manually entered customer name and open order support to the APIs as soon as possible. We'll support both as soon as they're available.

Our product team is working on an update with more online order features, including showing the online orders closer to the scheduled time. We will send an email with updates.

Yes, you can split the kitchen display into different stations. To do this you would configure the routing so that only sushi items go to your sushi device and kitchen items to your kitchen device. This is under Settings -> Routing. If you need further help with your routing please email support@getnewline.com and we'll be happy to assist!

Hi, when will customer names be available? Really annoying not having this or a least have logical order numbers eg 001.. 002 etc instead the random order numbers/letters that come up now. Also what is the promo code please

Hi! Square is working on adding customer name. As soon as they add it it'll show in Bump. A workaround in the meantime is to add name as an item note. You can enable this in Bump Settings -> "Enable Item Notes."
