Gift cards
Square/Woo Commerce integration and gift cards.
When I take a split payment in the shop the sale goes through as part credit/part other means but the full sales value is correct.
When someone makes a purchase with a gift voucher on their Woocommerce account, the sale goes to Square through as the amount paid by credit card.
e.g. £40 earrings - £30 paid by voucher, £10 credit card. Square registers the sale as £10 as if I have sold the earrings at £10. This throws all my sales reporting out.
Why can't the transaction be recognised as part payment as it is on the Square terminal in store?

Hey @inspiremakers, thank you for sharing this!
From my understanding, when customer used a gift voucher on WooCommerce, it'd be counted as a discount rather than other tender/credit like when you split payments on the Terminal.
Because of this, in your sale reports, the transaction will come up as £10 in total but there should be a record of the discounted amount, usually under discounts or comps.
Let me know if this will help! I'll also share your feedback to our Partnership team as well for future improvements as well.
