Online orders missing customer "Given Name" when using the retrieve customer api

Hi all,

 

I processed a transaction online using the link attached of an item in Square, and it appears that the "Given Name" does not return when calling the API for that transaction. Only family name appears.

 

Has anyone noticed this issue?

Hi there @Bamrman -

 

This customer profile doesn't have a first name because the customer never provided one. You should be able to see this by clicking on Edit for the customer profile. Additionally, this field is not required for generating a customer. Let us know if other questions come up!
