Just tried to process 1st payment with SQ. How long does that typically take to be credited to our bank account?

It depends. When you're brand new to Square, your bank account must be verified by Square before any money will be deposited into it. Square will allow you to process sales without a verified account, but they will hold your funds until either you verify your bank account or activate a Square Card. If you haven't received notification from Square that your bank account has been verified, it could be several days (depending at least partly on your bank) to get your account verified. If your account has been verified, you should start seeing money transferred into it within a few days at the most.
If your account has been verified and it's been more than about 3 or 4 days without any deposits, you'll need to contact Square's support team:
