Have you been able to connect your reader to your Motorola in the past and this just started happening, or is this a new issue?
Either way, I recommend forgetting your device in the phone's bluetooth settings and in the Square app then following this help file's steps to resetting your reader. Also, please remember the reader can only be paired to one device at a time. If you have another phone or tablet that has the reader linked you won't get your Motorola to connect to it. Hopefully this solves the problem!
