Refund new policy for fees

I by mistake charge my customer card $21,351.00 which is not usually my history sales, then I issued a refund for him, but Square debit my account $683.59 dollars saying that no transations for refund are accepted anymore??? what you mean? I lost $683.59 dollars???

Sorry to hear about this situation.  Since April 11, 2023, Square no longer refunds processing fees. Square has incurred network costs from many of our payment partners for these refunds over the years, but has covered those costs on your behalf. As we continue to invest in new payment offerings and improve the payment experience for you, the processing fees for each payment will ensure a high-quality experience for you and other sellers.

 

I recommend reaching out to our support team and explaining the situation, so they can see if there are any alternatives available to you.
