What is your ‘superpower’? Share a skill you excel at!
Happy Wednesday, folks 🎉
It’s hard to believe it’s July already! Time really does fly. Sometimes, I wish I had the ability to stop time. But as fun as it might be to imagine having that kind of superpower, I’d love to know:
What is your ‘superpower’? Share a skill you excel at!
Maybe it’s being able to write perfectly on a sandwich board without any outline, or always knowing the exact change without having to use a calculator — we want to celebrate all your ‘superpowers’!

I'm the same way as @Bronze_Palms, I love data and Excel, currently learning R.
I'm also a little paranoid, so I like to think of what could go wrong before it does go wrong. Helps make sure things run smoothly (backup plans for technological issues) and that we are prepared with an action plan if sales start to drop.
I also like to drill holes in walls to run ethernet to every corner of the store. Then attach a Google Wifi in each location to make sure we have great WiFi everywhere in the store. Perhaps not a superpower, but a hobby.
What's NOT my superpower? Marketing and social media.

Quotes.
and numbers.
Now while I'm not the Encyclopedia Britannica (did I just date myself? 🤔) of the entire film library since films were created, I have seen a lot of them, and I can quote back most of them. Side note: I have found that it helps a lot when I'm trying to relate a client to a look, idea, or situation that comes up in the studio and clinic.
You can't remember a line? Got you
What movie is that line from? Got you
Who was the actor that said that line? Got you
As for dates...
Do I remember my entire family's birthday off the top of my head? Yes
Do I remember the day of my 8th grade graduation? Yes
Do I remember when most of my Sola neighbors signed their leases? Yes (course that one's more so months and years rather than specific date).
Do I remember the exact time both my kids were born? Yes
Do I nerd out about Excel sheets, databases, and floorplans? Yes. Yes. and Yes.
It's a blessing and a curse at times 😄

Have you ever listened to Smartless, @JessPoynter? You sound like Will Arnett! He can recall dates and numbers really well.
I should have you on speaker every time I have a conversation. I can never remember any lines, any people, or any plots of movies ever 🫣

I excel in Consumer Law as it relates to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). WHO OWNS YOUR CONSUMER CREDIT DATA? YOU OWN IT! Why is this important? Because it means you can control what is being reported by TransUnion, Experian, Equifax and LexisNexis. etc. I help people raise their FICO score; Remove bankruptcy, repossessions, bad auto loans, negative payment experience, child support reporting, hard inquiry removal and collections. It's not magic. It's having the knowledge and the technique. Reach out to me if you need help with your personal credit history. I can be reached at abrafinancialgroup@gmail.com (Just ask for Dayvid or Peter)

I'm very resourceful! I've had to move so many times I rarely have all of my art supplies on hand, so I use whatever I can find for product photos - anything from the dust jackets of books to candle lids. I like to get creative 🙂

Oh man, I loved reading everyone super powers! I'm jealous of so many of them, including the intro one "being able to write perfectly on a sandwich board without any outline!"
I'd say mine is tenacity. Complicated forms? Red tape? Insurance denials? Stubborn 4-year-old standoff? I am what my mom calls "pleasantly persistent" -- I just keep taking baby steps (which I meticulously track and date) one at a time until I get it resolved. I'm currently involved in a mega insurance battle, so I created a document called "Insurance Obstacle Course" -- trying to reframe from it being a battle to it just being a series of challenges I need to overcome. One at a time, I'm getting there!

Love this, @mksavage!
Your mom is so sweet - "pleasantly persistent" is what I'm going to reframe it as when someone accuses me of being annoying in my pursuit of what I want 🤣

@lenjobakes Yes! My mom is the queen of this -- my dad calls her the "Bulldog." She never raises her voice, is always extremely polite, but she also never backs down. Learned it from her!
Also, yay for all the INFJ's on this thread! I'm definitely an extrovert (ESFJ to be specific), but my husband is an INFJ, and I've come to really admire and appreciate his way of seeing and experiencing the world.

@lenjobakes I think it's best that I not take the test, it would only flag up serious concerns and alert the authorities. Best I stay under the radar 😂
