I paid off my building this year. I bought it back in 2019 right before covid struck. Back then I thought "what have I done?" But buying my building was the best decision and paying it off in just under 5 years was a major accomplishment.
Huge accomplishment and way to go!

In 2024, Anu’Crown achieved several milestones that have truly elevated our brand. One of the biggest highlights was receiving The BOSS Network Impact Grant, which provided both recognition and resources to support our growth. Additionally, being quoted in Rolling Stone magazine was a major accomplishment, as it showcased our brand to a broader audience and validated our presence in the fashion and culture space.
Another incredible experience was attending the BET HBCU Honors live taping, where Anu’Crown was honored as a small business. This recognition within the HBCU community was both meaningful and motivating, reinforcing our commitment to celebrating heritage and style. These achievements have set a solid foundation for even bigger goals in 2025.
What an amazing 2024 you had! Looking forward to seeing this impact snowball to something even bigger in the new year!

It's been a HUGE year for us with so much change. We came into the year loosing money at a rapid rate. We sought out some specific hospitality coaching, and put in the work to really understand our costs and revenue. We worked hard to reduce our GOGS (Cost of Goods sold), increase our revenue through better service, better food and an overall better guest experience. It's been a lot of work, but it has paid off. we have been profitable since July this year, and looking to stay that way!

Finalizing my goals for 2024 as we have a brick-and-mortar store and a few online outlets including our own website, eBay and Walmart.
One thing we've been wanting and asking Square for is a round up key. Since they obviously don't want to do one, my wife now has a round up button which opens a series of buttons that if it ends with .82 you hit the button and .18 populates untaxed. Almost everyone donates too.
Yes, many people can add in their minds but a few of my people can't. Our round up money is going to purchase nice shoes for local kids in need. It's amazing how much it adds up!
I've streamlined our purchasing, the store is well stocked and we add new items nearly every single day. We relaunched our new online store and we're doing about $1600 or more monthly thru Shopify.
Our next Square Loan (hopefully this month) is going to additional merchandise and a minor store expansion -- we'll open up another 600+ sq feet of shopping floor.
We've nearly doubled our store sales over last year and built a solid shopper base of loyal guests and continue to build thru our Square Loyalty program. We email and text a few times a month and you always see a good boost in sales.
Facebook has done well by us to. We've got about 3700 followers and we'll be expanding that out nationwide using our online store. Most of those followers are locals.
2025 looks like it may be a good too great year. Setting goals, following thru and great customer service is a must.
