Question of the Week
I'm going to kick us off! It has been quite a year for me, personally. I got my Irish citizenship finally after 11 years in Dublin, got an essay published, were featured in two photo exhibitions, but more importantly, I celebrated by 5 years anniversary at Square and just feel so darn lucky to work with the Community gang ❤️

We opened a second location at the beginning of the year.
It has been fun getting the right team in place and implementing our processes and seeing that location start to grow.
Overall though, it has been a tough year. Our main location had to deal with the entire street being closed, including the sidewalk, all the way to our front door, for four months, during the busiest time of our year which is the summer. We opened back up on September 1st, and we are working very diligently to get things back out of crisis mode and into full recovery.
I have a 10-week challenge goal that I have implemented with both locations teams to increase revenues by a set amount and receive a bonus at the end of the year of a percentage of that increase.
Both sets of managers from each location have decided to make it a little friendly competition between them as well.

Congrats on your second location!
Also, loving the challenge you set out for teams. This is such an awesome way to incentivize growth and spark a little competition as well!
We decided to focus on construction/expansion in our current space (can't wait to show y'all pics!!!) so close now! Instead of pursuing a second location with so many complications of parking, inflated rents, etc. in Atlanta - we'd put so much energy into "looking" that we weren't "seeing" what was possible in our current space. We worked with a student architecture group on a brainstorming session with our members and it was AMAZING.
Also - we are on track to hit 1M in sales this year for the first time 🙂
Wow! Honestly, so excited for these pics and major major kudos on projecting to hit $1M! That is beyond amazing!
We finally found the perfect spot for our new location......I can't wait to show you guys...

It's been inspiring to see!
This year our family owned & operated restaurant Word Of Mouth Grill, made Yelp's 'Top 100 BBQ SPOTS in the Nation' and we also received a City of Tempe Proclamation honoring our achievements and declaring MAY 22nd as 'WORD OF MOUTH GRILL' day!
We opened our restaurant in 2019 and have received an consistent 'A' rating with the Health Dept and have a 4.8 star-rating with Yelp & Google. We are in the process of planning our 2nd restaurant concept in 2025. We appreciate all our supporters!
Thank you

This thread is so inspiring. This has been a challenging year, but we had some great wins. June was our best sales month of the 11 years we have been in business! And we celebrated our 11th anniversary this month!

We have been focused on our Social Media accounts. This year we were VERIFIED and got our blue check mark from Instagram! This has helped as we have seen growth as our customer base has expanded to hundreds of miles from our brick and mortar. Cheers to growth in Q4 for all in a small business.
