Recently the UK government urged Brits to stockpile emergency supplies in case of national crisis (tinned food, batteries and bottled water...chocolate??). 

What 3 essential items would you grab to keep your business operating?

Well, considering my biz is coffee, it's safe to say that'd be on my list.

After that, water (to make the coffee, duhhh) and a pocketful of cash. Sorry Square, but offline mode won't carry me through a national outage.

Personally, I'd have a stack of books, that coffee, and the attitude where I can be entertained when everyone around me is losing their schizz.

@maxpete In that scenario, I think I’d be happy with whatever book I could get my hands on. 

As for now, I’m currently reading Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara (inspired by the Forks episode of The Bear), Profit First (late to the ballgame on this one, sorry @Pesso), and Robert Irvine’s Overcoming Impossible. 

My constant return-to book is I Know This Much is True by Wally Lamb. The way it’s written just grabs me and it’s hard to put down. It’s a little touchy of a subject matter, but wow what a story.
