I'm part of those quiet Americans but I wanted to share some photos anyway 😁
Here's some garland hanging under the art & gnome shelf
Here's our Christmas tree beside the our historic wall, it's the original grocery store sign from over 100 years ago.
Here's some twiggy stuff around our espresso machine
We have other small decor here and there, but this is the main attractions. We decorated different this year than last year, and we'll probably decorate different next year. Hope everyone is having fantastic holidays, can't wait to see other's photos!

We typically decorate to the nines on Christmas. We didn't this Christmas, and sales have not been affected. People coming in to get pics of their family at this time (our selfie station is free), has been effected. Because we didn't 'go all out' this year, I am finding that our sales are on par with last year. Some new customers, but mainly our tribe.

That looks fantastic! Nice job!
I was wondering where you got that multi-tier table topper thing on the round table. I have been looking for exactly that. I saw it in a store once and I really wanted for my store but I don't know how to search for it.
Do you happen to know?

Aww, thanks so much! It is a lot of work. These are just a few pics, but I do love the season! All of the displays were p[purchased by me. Where did I get them? Great question! I keep my eyes peeled for closing stores in my tri-state area. Those tiered tables were from a closing JCPenny. I bought five of them. I also purchased all of their white, very nice commercial, vertical slatwall. It is so hard to find vertical slatwall that is commercial grade. Getting it custom made is upwards of 500USD per 4foot by 7 foot panel. The others I picked up at a closing for Dress Barn, and believe or not, a closing Calbela. When I buy displays, I only choose ones that will matchy matchy, even if they are super nice.
Thanks again!

Good job with all of the awesome finds. I'm going to have to do a better job of keeping my eyes out for those store closings!! 🦋

Big hugs! Thanks! Definitely! For a small business to get commercial quality displays like these are too cost prohibitive. They are very heavy, and can take the brute force of whatever will happen that a customer does to them - lean on them, push on them, etc. I also purchased (not in the pictures) displays on Craigslist - but only if it matches and fits, and only if it is commercial grade. I have purchased displays from other places that cater to small business, but they are no match for national chain displays.
I love your decs, too!

I purchased a case of cardboard pizza rounds and my team used them for all kinds of things including these great hanging peppermint candies. My team is really good at finding uses for existing things and upcycling them.

I wish we could decorate for customers to see but we work from home. 😕 One of the business ideas I've been toying with is being a holiday decorator. Originally, I had only thought about doing residential, indoors. I recently had the thought that I could also do commercial both retail and office and I could add staging for real estate. I think it would be super fun to decorate a store for the holidays!!

We have about 20 realtors that are our clients and they buy by the bulk. Each one but 2 ladies send down their stage person and she goes around the whole store and puts a sticky note on everything she or they want and pays for it. Usually the next day they come in a big moving truck and their guys load it up and she sends pictures of all their staging and tags in our store. Usually about 6 times a year they come as they rotate from house to house. Huge kick in just the 2 ladies came last week and a little over 3,875.00 that was during a 10% of store wide sale too. You would love it!

This is the new section of the store and soon to be my 2nd store 4 buildings down from my retail new furniture store. I need and wanted a break from 7 days a week to 4/5 days a week and fun, up cycling, painted, refurbishing furniture and industrial furniture with a mix of vintage and mid century furniture and all the above decor. I have my own little corner now in the big store and hopefully by mid January kick off to store number 2!

This is my fun piece! Old radio cabinet I gutted and inside 2 pull out shelves and lights in it for a coffee bar or regular bar/ wine station with a hidden lock door on the back. Will attach locking wheels for easy access to the door and lock! The inside is adorable. Just going from 12k square feet building which I will still go to every day and make sure the guys are fine ( hard to open 2 after 12 years) but I’m right a few buildings over and I need a break and small items I can handle better. The guys and my booker are amazing and they will hold it down and do just fine. Onto location #2!
