To be able to deposit checks remotely via Square app to this new "checking" account is a must for the majority of businesses. Until this is implemented it is half-baked and will not serve true business purposes. Hopefully Square staff is reading our feedback.

The Square app DOES let you deposit checks. Go to Balance > Add Money > Check Deposit

Really? I do not see Check Deposit option there, only transfer from a linked debit card. Perhaps you are using a beta version of the app? Mine is version 5.71 on Android. What is yours?

I'm having trouble understanding how they call this a "CHECKING" account WITHOUT the option to deposit or write checks! I can't leave my current bank without real checking!

You have to opt-in for deposits, but I don't think they provide the ability to write checks. Not yet at least.

Do I have to have more than one square checking account for each location? I signed up for a checking account, but it is only linked to one location.
