What are some marketing strategies to help boost sales for the holiday season?

This time of year I like to do a buy one get one sale on gift cards.  Usually buy $100 gift card received $125.

Hi Doran. Interesting. Just want to verify that your customers receive a $125 gift card if they purchase one for $100??  If so, how soon can the free gift card be used?  Just curious. 

Honestly, I have had a pack of gift cards sitting FOREVER and trying to think of a good way to get them sold. Perhaps I will try something similar. Thanks for the idea!!

We offer Reward Points for customers donating to charity during November and December. We also typically use social media to get the word out. Something we are going to look into is squares text messaging because a lot of our clients say they don't ever see our emails and have actually been requesting text messages.

We gift wrap with hangtag cards for free. We create customized gift sets depending on what they want to spend, But first, when they enter the shop, we make it about them for a few minutes before it becomes about the person they are gifting.
