This Sounds interesting! Thanks for the invite to join.

MY name is Beverly, I am an essential oils specialist with doTERRA.

I have suffered an acquired brain injury and finding solutions that really work to clear brain fog, increase energy, reduce pain and help with the self-doubt after being assaulted was really tough. 😣

I was assaulted in 2001 and doTERRA came into my life in Nov. 2014. I had burned my fingers on the turkey that was going to a work party with me, very badly. Like hospital bad. I put my fingers under cold running water and it did not help. Tried cold still water (not recommended as the heat has no place to go away from your finger) that of course did not help. I even tried to reduce the heat by putting my fingers in the freezer. The heat would not go away and I managed to add freezer burn on top of the heat burn. When I arrived at work my friend asked what happened and offered some lavender essential oil to put on the burn. I said no and continued to suffer and putting my fingers on cold drinks and in the refrigerator. The heat and pain had still not subsided hours later after lunch was served and we were clearing up. I gave in and figured the lavender oil could not make things worse.

My friend placed two drops of lavender on my burned fingers and said "rub that in gently"  before I had finished rubbing it in the pain was gone. I literally could feel the moisture returning to the cells in my fingers, the dryness was gone. Totally amazing but I still did not believe in essential oils and what they can do. It was an amazing experience but even in awe of my experience I still did not believe.

What has that to do with the brain injury I started with? I can hear you asking that....

Well after that incredible experience with lavender I was lamenting about being tired later to the same friend. I had finished work the night before at midnight and had to be up at 5 to put the turkey in the oven. I was then working until midnight again that night.

My friend had a solution for that too! Peppermint is what she gave me. I was to put one drop on my wrist and smell it. Oh, I drove a highway coach at that time. It was a commuter service in the Toronto area, taking people from their homes in the towns outside of toronto into Toronto or home from Toronto. Seeing I was working nights at the time, mostly home. Staying awake was very important!

I was stopped at a red light and figured I should try the peppermint. I did not know you should only turn the bottle to a 45 degree angle and wait. I did not know that when you get near to the bottom of the oil bottle the oil comes out really fast. I turned the bottle upside-down and shook it like a salt shaker. There was essential oil running down my arm. I did not know what to do with it. I rubbed both arms together and still had too much left. My light was about to change so I took my arms from the elbows and slid them along my neck from just under my ears until my wrist reached the same spot.  Ifigued " At least I no longer have to smell my wrists now.

TWENTY MINUTES LATER my Life was changed forever. I was turning my head to look in the mirrors and was shocked. The stiffness, pain and swelling that I had felt for 13 years was gone! I had suffered for thirteen years with headaches and swelling at the base of my head and it was gone. I could turn my head all the way to the right or left with obstruction or pain. I was shocked. I had become so accustomed to the situation I no longer noticed, until it was gone. I ran my day through my mind trying to figure out what I had done that impacted my life so much. I wanted to be able to do it again.

The only thing I could identify was Peppermint. I found out later that Peppermint essential oil is good for aches, pains, stains and rheumatoid arthritis. And get this.... THAT CLAIM IS SUPPORTED BY HEALTH CANADA!

The support from Health Canada shows that there is scientific evidence to support the use of peppermint for pain and swelling.

My goal is to share my story with others that are also struggling to find solutions. I know just how important getting something that actually works is.

Adding essential oils to other health programs is easy. Acupressure, massage, emotional support, just to name a few can integrate essential oils to programs with greater impact for your customers and patients.

What a great Platform to be able to have onsite around the states!
I’m Susan from Houston.  Have been in the beauty industry for over a decade maybe close to 3😁. I’m  1 of 4 Salon owner at a rental salon,  Self Employed and have enjoyed being my own person for many years now.  I somewhat call myself “the generational stylist”.  I have done grandmas to the the new wee ones in the same Family🙏🏼   My expectations for myself   is to always have forward thinking in our industry today and the future, remembering to always try new techniques and figure out what is fun to do with  so many techniques to create with- yes of course I have my own style but it’s good to mix new with the old and make new💥. . I’m always trying to expand my clientele to give them the best experience I can give to them and for their future and mine.   I feel in this platform that square is providing is going to help our future for growth!
Never stop what you enjoy doing💕

Hello everyone! My name is Tara and I own Tara the Hair Slayer in Concord, NC. I've been in the hair industry for 8 years and opened my business in January 2022. I'm always learning what it takes to run a successful barber shop and I enjoy every minute! I'm still growing my clientele and that is on my mind a lot. Any advise anyone can give me as a new owner would be greatly appreciated. I love doing what I do for my clients who support me and would love to have more to share in my beautiful suite that I've created.

I set up online appointments to take card details for no show cancellation and then if they want to pay cash on appointment they can or you can charge the card. Also have set a booking fee at variable so that when people who phone or call in we can record that and have a discount for pre paid this way it deducts it automatically from total bill when they come for their appointment.
