How I Streamline Payroll, Benefits, and HR for My Small Spa

We use Gusto. I can pay independent contractors, hourly employees and commissioned employees on it. It does the taxes and new staff onboarding for me. Staff who need to clock in can clock in using the gusto waller app to track hours. Gusto talks to Homebase scheduling and a few other apps that track ours if you’re already using a different schedule/hour tracking platform. I own a spa and have only 5 employees but gusto makes it so we can offer medical/dental benefits. Life & vision too. Staff request time off on it and it will remind you of birthdays and milestones and when payroll is coming up.  I only have to go to square to track commission and tips but I think there’s a new feature for that. It constantly is adding updates. You can pay extra for HR add-on and it’s easy to reach a real person when you have questions.it even helped make our handbook and knows the state specific laws and regulations . I’m happy with it so far and I’ve been using for 2 years now.

Hey @Goodorange, great to hear you’ve had a solid experience with Gusto! I’ve moved your post to this board so other spa owners can find the info more easily. Quick plug, if I may: Don't forget to subscribe to the Product Updates hub to stay in the loop on Square's latest releases—built with seller feedback in mind.
