Digital Downloads

This is so interesting because this is what I received from Square:

Digital items let you sell digital files for download on your website. You can then specify, for example, how many times that digital file may be downloaded or how long the download link should remain active after a purchase. To add a digital item:

1. In your site dashboard, go to Items > Site Items.
2. Select Create new item.
3. In the Item Type menu, choose Digital.
4. Complete all other details and select Save when finished.

Note: Each digital item can include 10 files. Each file can be up to 3 GB.

Just wanted to jump in here to clarify:

Both the information we sent you and @JK_Fiber_Art 's response above are correct. 

Square Online doesn't currently offer an automation to send digital items to customers after payment is completed. 

Weebly, on the other hand, does offer this feature and the instructions you received are for Weebly ecommerce sites, but wouldn't work on a Square Online Store. 

In this Community, we have some boards for discussion about Weebly sites and the features that builder offers. I'll go ahead and move this post there so hopefully that helps avoid confusion for other Sellers looking for information

I use weebly and followed the instructions. There is no option to upload documents for download.
