Why are my products showing as "Unavailable"?

[Note: The title of this post has been edited by a moderator.]

Hello, my store basically sells just one product, but buyers choose from variations.  Today I removed one of the variations, but added two new ones.  I set the price for each variation, saved, and published.  That all worked fine, but now users can't choose any of the product options, and the "Buy now" button has been changed to "Not available" (see image).  What caused this, and how do I fix it?

I called Support, and figured out the problem: customers on the Starter plan are allowed to have only five SKUs.  When I changed my available options, it raised my total number of SKUs to eight, so that shut down my store.

That might be happening because no options have been selected. Click a few options - does it change to showing as available?

No, when I click on any of the options, nothing happens (i.e. the options do not select).

I think you're seeing that because you have the pickup option selected for your products, and that option is a part of Performance (you have Business for the site). If you switch to shipping or upgrade to performance it should work.

Have you double checked that your item is marked as visible? They are set to unavailable by default

Not working!  I paid 18 bucks to upgrade and messing with options, sizes, making new products, etc. doesn't seem to be working.  Please help!

I see two different upgraded sites in your account, @NotBob - which one are you having trouble with?

I also made sure I only have a few items listed via printful, just to make sure.    Still not working.

Hi @NotBob You are allowed to sell a combination of 25 items and variations, however, the plan you are on will limit the number of variations per item to 5. I recommend splitting the shirt into two separate items for grey and black and then you can have 5 variations per item for your sizes.

Thanks for the response but a little late.

After a few sleepless nights and insane focus, I figured out that;

1.  We have to both mess with the listing in Printful AND on the Weebly side, making sure not to be over the tiny number of 25 products.  ( NOT advertised in your sales materials which kinda pisses me off.   Feels like I signed up for something and then find out I got sold short.  The fact that variants count as individual products adds insult to injury. )

Weebly and Printful are a nice little ecosystem but SOMEBODY ( that somebody ain't me ) makes a huge profit margin on the shirts ( I'm guessing that weebly gets kickbacks from printful on this but only the top leaders would know ) and then weebly also charges subscriptions.

2.  Printful has something called "printful wallet" where you have to put money in before making any sales ( also NOT advertised when I invested a bunch of time and energy on their platform and I only figured it out after I was well vested in it.  I'm not a dummy or noob on the interwebs so it's clear to me that is a little hidden trick they put in there too )

I couldn't find much info and NO LIVE SUPPORT from weebly or printful so I had to spend hours and hours of my time to make what I already paid for actually work but in a way that is much less efficient / profitable than how both Weebly and Printful sell themselves as being.     If you're so big that you can't provide live support to every customer, then you're big enough that you can pay some nerds to build an amazing A.I. that acts as live support and helps people get through this.   I'm no dummy but it was a B and half for me to get the printful / weebly integration working right and finally be able to start selling products.

The next chapter in this journey now is to verify if you guys can deliver good quality goods in a timely fashion.

I hope this thread helps others to be able to debug their "product not available" thing faster than I was able to.   A short video explainer made by Printful / Weebly showing all the key checks or even an interactive tutorial overlay on the website backends for first time store creators would be great.

Your interfaces ( both printful and weebly ) are not very intuitive ( This is coming from a guy who learned ADOBE stuff off the cuff, so when I say that, it means something. )   so I pity the folks that are less adept and who just spent a bunch of money to build an online store but then get stuck on this crap.

I was a hair away from just going fully over to merch.amazon.com and / or etsy.

Your subscription model isn't fun so please make your user experience 1000x easier.   You can't have a **bleep**ty subscription model ( Not-so-honest marketing ) + clunky interface + slow customer service.   You can pick only one area to suck in.   You're not allowed to suck in all 3.

If you do continue this way then people will leave in droves to Amazon, Etsy and your other, hungrier / smarter competitors.

24 hour AI-powered customer service bots.  You need 'em.  You want 'em.  Tell your supervisor to tell his / her / their supervisor to tell the big boss.  Get 'er done!

Wish you the best!

I checked your site but your digital item is showing as available to me. Did you make additional changes since posting?
