Weebly is Working on a Solution
According to the CSR I just chatted with, Weebly is aware of the issue with product descriptions not being submitted to the various payment processors and they are currently working on a solution. They have no ETA but are working on it. Here is a screen shot of the comment:
This is good news! *Keeping my fingers crossed!*

I sure do hope so, @bobafett! Trying to create a work-around is driving me nuts and is a lot of work in itself.

at least you got through, I tried twice and was put on hold for 30 minutes on Friday and 45 minutes on Saturday. It is definitly a Weebly problem because eBay, Etsy and PayPal Invoices come through just fine! Up until now Weebly was a pana cea compared to eBay! I hope they get it working soon especially since the Weebly orders tab does not work eirh (cannot print off individual orders)
sigh ,
Elizabeth

While this is great, the product description issue is much higher on the food chain. Thanks for the update.
Would it be too much to ask for someone to create a 'checklist' and keep us updated on what has been fixed and what is being worked on? That would be a monumental help!

Brodie,
Maintaining such a list would actually save you time and greatly reduce the call volume to the call center. It's very short sighted to not have a way to efficiently tell your 40 million customers what issue you know about and what you are doing about them.

Hey Brodie,
So, am I to assume (Hopefully ), that what your higher ups had originally told you about the item description never being transferred over to Paypal again has now changed and they see what a big issue this is? I sure hope so because I talked to my tax advisor and they told me that paypal turns all the sales reports over to the IRS at the end of the year and that they would all be breathing down Weebly sellers throats next year if that item information isn't on the paypal sales report, and it isn't even something we had any control over... I knew that it would cause me problems in figuring up my tax info, but I didn't imagine it would cause me even more issues like that.
That being said, I truly do appreciate all your guys hard work during these issues. I am sure that it has been a headache to you too.

@Brodie wrote:@Heirloom_Angel, we don't have anything in place to keep a running list of things that may be momentarily downto face our customers, or to keep such a list updated when the problem is resolved. Our resources are focused on fixingthose issues when they arise and contiuning to serve our customers' overall needs. The maintenance of such a list, whichwould include very, very temporary issues, would take away from everything else we aim to accomplish on a daily basisto support Weebly and its users. We appreciate your understanding as these issues pop up from time to time and yourpatience as the team works to resolve them.
I hear you, Brodie! Thanks!

Hey guys - you should now be able to print orders from within Weebly without issues (except for FireFox, though that will also be fixed shortly).
