Weebly eCommerce shown through iframe on external site

Greetings,

I recently read an article that saidit would be possible to have an iframe on your weebly site showing an external site. However, I'm hoping to do the exact opposite. Would it be possible to have a Weebly eCommerce  solution be held linked via an iframe on an existing external site?

Thanks,

Hi @mthomas11 Are you saying you are trying to embed your cart/checkout function onto a third party site? I just want to make sure I'm understanding you correct. Thanks!

You're awesome! Thank you for the fast reply.

Yes that is exactly what we'd be looking for!

Hi there. I don't believe there is a way to embed the cart/checkout itself, but if you log into your Square account, you should have access to a checkout link (per item) that you can use. Are you very familiar with the Square dashboard? Can you login and click Items, then scroll to the bottom of the screen? Do you see the option for "Checkout Link"?

We had considered going the Squarespace route, however, our client has had too many small issues using them. I did have two other questions relating to this:

1.) Can you create conditional logic that if a person puts a zipcode out of state that they would not be able to continue with the pruchase. This question is specifc to weebly eCommerce.

2.) Can we use a subdomain to have a weebly eCommerce site link from an exsiting wordpress site?

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike

1.) Are you trying to restrict a certain zip code, or just any out-of-state address? You can specify which states you will and will not ship to by editing the region under Store>Setup>Shipping

2.) Yes, you can set your Weebly site to a subdomain and then setup navigation links to/from your existing Wordpress site. What type of product do you sell?
