Shipping isn't being charged at all and customers from anywhere (not just the UK) can buy!

Help!

I've had to take down my store which I've only just started using because the shipping isn't being charged.  I was told I'd set it up correctly but someone from australia placed an order when I had set it up for UK shipping only.  On top of that it didn't even charge them the cost for the shipping within the UK.  I was told it would prevent them from paying at check out in this situation but that hasn't happened.  I've put in several emails more than 48 hours ago and still I've heard nothing.  I've had to take down my store having just advertised that it's open.

Can anyone shed light on what I've done wrong here?  I set up UK shipping and selected the regions for england, scotland and wales. I've also set up a flat rate for shipping but none of its going through to the checkout!  Am I missing an important section or tick box or something?

Hi @Debbie_Goulden It's hard to tell without seeing the site live in action. Would it be okay if I publish it temporarily to try to recreate what the user did? I'll unpublish as soon as I get a screenshot. It shouldn't take me more than a couple of minutes. Thanks!

Hello Bernadette

Thank you for your response.  I have since resolved the issue - apparently I needed to upgrade to get shipping as an option. A little confusing when you're able to complete all the shipping information under the starter plan.

Thanks for clarifying, @Debbie_Goulden I agree with you that it is a bit confusing to be able to setup shipping completely without realizing it is not active. I'll make sure to pass along your feedback. Smiley Happy
