One of the main complaints we have from our customers is that the checkout process is unnecesarily lengthy. For example, the Checkout page asks for a customer's email, first & last name, and then phone number. A couple of steps later, in the billing section, it asks for the same information all over again (email, first & last name, phone number). Most of our customers purchase products using their phones and to enter this information twice (especially on a phone) is quite time consuming and frankly, unnecessary.
It would be a huge help if the information entered in Step 1 on the checkout page was simply pre-filled and editable in the Billing section. This way, customers do not need to enter the SAME information twice, but can edit if required. It's a relatively simple feature but would add real time savings.
