Order of items in categories doesn't come through when adding to website

This is regarding my website www.blueboyfurniture.co.uk

I'm in the process of adding to the bottom of each of my items the facility of seeing other products the purchaser may like...... but I have two questions - even if there is a solution to the first and not the second, the first is the most frustrating.

The category I'm adding to the 'You may also like....' is 'Painting Accessories'. I have ordered the items in this category in the way I would like them shown on the live site but when I add that category, it shows them in a very different order and I have to manually adjust them. Should arranging them in the site category section not follow through to show them in that order when adding them to a live page?

If you click here https://www.blueboyfurniture.co.uk/store/p97/Cornish-Milk-Mead.html, you'll see the order I want it in and have manually adjusted this.

If you click here though https://www.blueboyfurniture.co.uk/store/p32/Cornish-Milk-Biostrip.html, you'll see that the adding of the category just adds it into a default order that happens every time I add it unless I manually adjust it each and every time.

The second question is I'm adding the element of PRODUCTS to the bottom of each of my paint colour items but I have to do it manually to every single item. Is there any way I can copy them from one item to another? ie. do I have to go into every paint colour and manually add title and products element or can I copy across all the items?
