Not getting store purchasing notifications from Weebly App

Hey, I have an online store that has been working really well from the weebly app. For some reason today, the weebly app doesn't seem to be giving notifications (cash register noise) whenever an order has been placed. It has been doing this very flawlessly for the past few months until today. Already missed a couple orders because of this. Anyone else experiencing this, thoughts or solutions on this?

All notification settings in the app and on the iphone are switched to on, but it's still not giving me notifications through the weebly app.

December 2020 Update: The issue mentioned in the original post was resolved, however notifications stopped again towards the end of November. The cause for this is a separate issue and involves working with another provider to resolve. While I don't have an ETA on how long it will take, we are hoping that this should be fixed soon.

I checked with our team and our advanced support team has filed a bug with our engineers for this. Hopefully the issue should be resolved soon. Thanks for your patience!

I'm having this problem again, after the latest iOS update. No notifications are coming through on my iPhone, either via the Weebly app or the Square app. Suggestions?

Just want to add another report of this... notifications were working wonderfully until 4-5 days ago. I didn’t make any changes to the settings & checked to confirm that notifications are enabled for the app, but no notifications are coming through. (I also confirmed that I do actually have orders coming in. Smiley Happy

I'm sorry to hear you are also running into this issue. The bug is still open, but has been bumped up to a higher priority. Hopefully the engineers will have a solution for everyone soon.

This is really not acceptable for a business your size to allow this sort of issue to continue for months without a suitable solution. I rely on those notifications as I don't always have access to email ( the ONLY way I have been alerted to sales of late )

I fully agree with you. Despite emailing and doing everything asked it is still not fixed and when apparently it is it normally lasts a few days. Thank heavens that we get the PayPal notifications so we can see the orders coming in. The issue has been running for too long and its not as if we don't pay for a "service" We will await the outcome.........sometime!

I'm sorry this hasn't been sorted yet. Do you receive email notifications on your phone? I've noticed while testing this that I still get an immediate prompt via email even though the app notifications are not working at the moment.

Is yours working yet? It would appear that another week on and in one of the buisest times of the year its still not fixed. I have to say the support from Weebly on this is poor at the best as it has been an issue for months!

Thank you for your patience, everyone! This is has turned out to be a little more complicated than simply fixing a bug so it's taking longer to resolve than previously though. Our team is definitely working on restoring this feature, though!

It is now 2021, the pandemic is still ongoing, Brexit has happened and no one is shipping to the UK. On a more positive note the checkout notification issue is fixed????............ Of course not. Is there any news on this at all as it been months now and many Weebly customers who all continue to pay their dues for a product and service that they are not getting!

I wish I had a better answer but unfortunately engineering is still working on a fix for this.

I know that answer isn't ideal, but it seems like we're still working with our notifications partner for the app on it.

Can you let us know if they are working on this problem? It was working for us until around August or so, then one day it wasn't. It's frustrating, we really relied on those notifications, especially during the pandemic.
