Issue with .csv product list Import

I am trying to import new product records. I have done this many times in the past with no issues.
I exported a file first using the Manage Store link, and edited that file removing my previous products and adding my new products as I always have (empty PRODUCT ID and IMAGE, fill in TITLE, DESCRIPTION, CATEGORIES, TRACK INVENTORY, TAXABLE, SKU, PRICE, INVENTORY, PRODUCT TYPE. etc). When I select the .csv file it says it is ready to import. But when I click Import (top right), I get a summary that 0 products will be created and 0 will be updated.

I tried 2 browsers (Chrome and Firefox). I cleared my browser data. I tried different size files (36 products, 20 products, 1 product). Any other suggestions that i can try? Has anything changed recently with this process?

Thanks for the help.

How are you editing your CSV, @ReisRenditions? I find what's easiest is to take the initial export and import it into a Google sheet. It's a lot easier to edit that way, and then when I'm ready I just export it to a new CSV.

We're going to have to see the csv file, @ReisRenditions Can you please submit an email ticket to support so that you can include the file? I don't think there's a way for you to upload a file directly to this platform.

If you click the link and scroll to the bottom of the screen you will see the Contact Us button. Thanks!

I tried using Google Sheet.  I loaded the Export, updated the appropriate fields, and i still get an empty import.

Note: The final solution was having Weebly people load the file for me.  It could have been a code caching issue, but it's loaded for me now so i'm happy.

Hi, I have imported many csv items with product variations, both by creating a new item and copying an item. I understand the format of the csv and exporting a single row and adding variations in the csv. lately, the import bar just sits there for hours, no errors, just no movement with importing. Any high level ideas?  i don't need things like 'make sure it is formatted correctly etc'. thanks

Hi @LJCollection I'm not aware of any specific issues with importing a csv. What browser are you using, and does the page display any errors?

Hi there are no errors. It says 1 item will be updated and 0 will be created, which it should. Using Chrome, but will try Internet Explorer too, thanks

Hi there @LJCollection

I would recommend trying to clear your cache and trying again. If it still gives you trouble, I recommend contacting our Customer Success team.

I also wanted to add that I moved your post over to this thread. It's a bit older, but it looks like the previous poster had a possible cache issue messing up the import.
