How do I make a single non-quantity product for sale?
Hi,
Is there a way to set a product for sale as once only?
I make custom items that aren't available in large quantities. So I would like to add the product but make sure it can't be purchased twice, because there is only one of them.
Is there any way to do this, aside from un-publishing the product once someone makes a purchase?
Thanks

Yes. In you inventory, put in a quantity of "1". When it sells, then you are out of stock and will show as unavailable to the next purchaser.
Alternatively have users contact you on a first come first served basis. If you only make one of something you can create scarcity, an old marketing ploy. Of course this depends on you system of invoicing and payment, and if you have none then the first method is the solution here.

Oh, I see it now. Hidden behind a pay wall...
Seems a bit of an odd function to need yet another upgrade for. Seems like a very simple thing to be able to do. Rather unfair.
Thanks for your help anyway. I'll have to find another way of doing it. I'm a small operation and can't affort to be paying £17 a month.
Thanks again.

I totally agree. I've upgraded TWICE today and still can't set an item as one only. I'll have to pay $300US, that's $438 Aussie dollars just to get the show on the road. I hate to say it but I think Weebly was the wrong choice for me. However, I'm in it now so I just hope I haven't thrown money away.

Inventory management does require upgrading to a plan that supports the option, although that plan comes with additional features to increase the value of the plan. Also, if you upgrade one plan to another plan, we pro-rate the cost of the higher plan based on the time remaining on the current plan. If you did that right away it should have discounted it by the full price of the lower level plan.
Were you able to set the inventory of your items to 1?
