Solved: How do I delete or remove the store from my websit...

I am adding ecommerce to my previously existing website. I accidentally hit publish on the site WAY before the store was ready. So now I have a shopping cart in my menu bar with no products or storefront and I can't find how to delete or unpublish just the store until it's ready. Help!!!

To remove the store from a site built using the classic Weebly drag and drop editor, do the following:

On your account dashboard, go to Settings > Checkout, and disconnect from any payment providers.
While on that page, click on the Advanced settings button and toggle your Checkout mode option to Buy now.
Open your site in the website editor, then remove any Products or Categories elements from pages of your site. You can also delete any pages that are store pages.

For the Square Online editor, do the following:

Go to Settings > Checkout on your dashboard, then toggle off the Accept online orders option. If you don't see that toggle, then disconnect from any payment providers you've connected to.
While on that page, click on the Advanced settings button and toggle your Checkout mode option to Buy now.
Open your site in the website editor, remove any featured categories or featured items sections from the pages of your site.
Click on the pages dropdown on the top left, then click on the Edit link for your navigation menu at the bottom. Remove any navigation items that are linked to store pages.

One final step for any site built with either editor: go to Items > Item Library on your dashboard, then use the checkboxes and Bulk edit button to mark all items as unavailable. Note that you can use buttons on the bottom left to display more items per page so it goes faster for you.

After following all those steps, republish your site and you're all set!

Hey there! A quick trick to avoid displaying the cart is to switch your store purchasing method from Cart to Buy Now, which you can do in your Store settings.

Ok, all you'd need to do then is add a new page to your site and add Products or Categories element to the page.

Hi Bernadette

The tread is old, but the problem remains the same. I solved the problem in:

- I deleted all products
- I disconnected from payment-methods
- I quit the Business-Plan

And then you have to wait a view hours ... !

After this, the support did set me on the Pro-Plan again (I could not do it by myselve.

It is easy to set up a shop. But its difficult to delete it...

I don't really think anyone has answered the question, how to delete or unpublish store?

I can't remove the store by doing anything that has been posted.

Make sure you've disconnected from any payment providers, @LBB, then delete any products you have and also set the store mode to "buy now" in Store > Setup > General.

I think there's a error. I tryed switching the type of site setting, but it keeps reverting back to Online Store setting. Yes, I saved it, but when i reload the page, it reverts.
