I edited a blog post but the modifications do not show up despite publishing

Hello,

I created a new blog post on my website, and weebly confirmed that the changes were published. However, when I check the preview and the websites, the changes do not appear. Going back to edition restore the changes, but I still cannot publish them... How can I fix this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Charly1 👋 sorry to hear that you're having some trouble!

Our website sometimes encounters errors when trying to connect to your browser. Here are a few troubleshooting tips you can try:

  • Make sure your browser is up to date.
  • Clear the cache on your browser. Access the Help menu of your browser to locate step-by-step instructions.
  • Switch to a supported browser, such as Google Chrome or Safari.

If after doing so, you still can't see your updates, please try republishing your site.

Let me know how it goes!

Hello,

Thanks for the response. I just tried again on the latest Chrome version with cache fully cleared, and it didn't work. I also tried on the Android app this week without success.

Will unpublishing my website delete existing comments on posts?

Unpublishing will not remove any of your data.

In this case, I recommend giving our support team a call - our French team are available on +33 805 08 20 54 - Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m - they also speak English, however you prefer to proceed.

They will be able to assist in publishing this post.

I hope this helps! @Charly1

Hello,

I just tried unpublishing and publishing again without success. I tried to contact the support team by mail in parallel, but it didn't help in finding a solution. I will just look for an alternative approach for hosting the posts, this is getting too time consuming for me.

Thanks for the help,

Best regards,

Charly.
