URL indexing problems

Hey. I'm having some real issues with search console for EVERY PAGE!

Under URL inspection it says URL is on google but then if I do a live test it says URL is not on google! It does this for every single page. I tried to request indexing on one of the pages but it comes up with "Indexing request rejected... During live testing, indexing issues were detected with the URL." I have no idea how to go about working out whats wrong.

If I do a site search... Site:www.etc... it shows all my pages but something is off as my seo isn't working right at all. It used to work like a dream until I redesigned my site.

Any ideas what on earth is going on?

GSC does indeed have lots of bugs but this has never happened before. I did submit a sitemap yes, and it was read and URLS were found. I just hate the fact the only option is to wait and see if it relsoves Smiley Sad

I think I may have found the issue, and it's my stupidity. I just looked closely at the sitemap and I forgot I added a schema code thinking I was being clever!

<urlset xmlns="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9">

I bet that is to blame!

I'm now going to delete it and try again. I will update!

I deleted the schema code but it's still showing in the sitemap which is odd as I thought sitemaps update instantly after publishing. FML. Maybe tomorrow...

All fixed! Thanks for troubleshooting this with me. Google has read the sitemap now and live URL tests are showing as available.
