Hi
Our site has moved to https, but our sitemap is showing http. (www.inclusiq.com)
This is causing a problem with Google Search Console, as the majority of our pages are being 'excluded'.
With further investigation, the http pages are not being included as they are showing up as duplicate and Google is selecting the https version of that page as the canonical.
How do we get the sitemap showing the https versions of the pages?
Much appreciated.

Thanks whitemonkey.
What would the verification code be that I would need to put in the header?

Thanks @whitemonkey
Yes, the sitemap has been submitted on to the search console already. And yes, we've got the verification stuff from Google in the header.
My query is....
If it's an https site... should our sitemap from weebly be showing the pages as https? (it's currently showing all pages as http.
Is there something I should have done, that I've not done?
My worry is....
I have submitted http and https sitemaps, but for both are showing the same thing...
Every page (apart from 3) on our website is coming up as "Duplicate, submitted URL not selected as canonical"
And the 'google-selected canonical' - is the https version of each page.
Your help has been great so far. Anything else that I should be doing?

Hi @jmac1
forget anything with http
Ur site is an https site
U can switch between ur sites associated with ur log in details. See:
I cant remember what desktop google search console looks like but on mobile it looks as above. Click the 3 lines top left then the downward arrow thatll bring up all ur sites . Then select https one
If not, run thru the google verification process again with the https (deleting the http site at the same time)
Good luck..
All the ERRORS on google take a while to dissappear

Hi,
Both your robots.txt and sitemap.xml are showing http pages, of course Google bots will mark them as duplicates and will not see the https version of your website.
If your ssl certificate comes from weebly, is probably just a matter of time before both files update themselves and then you will be able to index https version re-submitting your sitemap.
I would open a ticket with weebly to make sure somebody looks into it and eventually drive you through the best way to accellerate the process.
If instead you are using a CDN as cloudflare or similar or other third party, robots.txt and sitemap.xml will not update as they are managed by Weebly and the server side will keep reading your website as http only.
Best!
