Recent issues with sharing on facebook

Over the past few months I've had increasing problems with images not showing when sharing event pages and blog posts to facebook. Either something has changed at weebly or (more likely) at facebook. I know how to scrape a post using the debugger. That used to work, but rarely does now. I've tried facebook's "refresh share" option - that works sometimes, but often doesn't.

Since this happens to posts/pages which previously shared without problems, I'm mystified. Does anyone know what's going on, or, more importantly know a workaround?

Howdy! This is for blog posts only. It uses the newest Facebook and Twitter API. I did this more in regards to just getting a share button for our blog, but it seems to be working 100% of the time.

In Weebly go to settings, then the Blog tab.

1. Turn OFF the Post share buttons switch.
2. Copy and past this code into the Post footer code:

     3. Save and publish your site.

This will create your own facebook and twitter buttons that share out the current page. Note that this method will only effect blog posts. If you want to see it in action, check out jbtvmusic.com/jbtvblog

I am experiencing issues w/ FB as well. My very first blog post shared and showed up on my FB feed, since then, when I share to FB nothing shows up on my feed or anywhere on FB, even though it says shared successfully.
