How to Change Permalink on Homepage get rid of the index.html ???

That index.html that appears on my sitemap really hurts my SEO. It is also very outdated. I used it back using microsoft frontpage 10 years ago.

Did you know they've made a new website builder, and it actually runs outside of the 'old' site builder? I've no idea if it's any better or not! I'm lost for words really!
